Rockin’ Raw Cacao Smoothie
Chocolate Almond Milk Smoothie!
Homemade chocolate almond milk is borderline impossible to sip and enjoy slowly—at least for me. This unbelievably good beverage always tests the limits of my patience and self-control. In a good way.
A few years ago, I tried an experiment: could I possibly make this dream elixir even better, somehow, some way? Taking inspiration from the wonderful bombay delight smoothie at NYC’s peacefood cafe, I tried a few variations and think I achieved the impossible: an improved version of an already matchless concoction!

NOTES
You can make a bigger batch of this smoothie and keep it in the fridge for up to three days.
For a cool summertime version, try adding a few ice cubes or freezing your smoothie for 30 minutes before sipping.
For some reason, I love this smoothie most when I can enjoy it while listening to “Last Christmas” by Wham! If you have any insights about why this might be, or if you find you feel the same way, please let me know in the comments below :)
I would love to hear your thoughts!
